Paris Retail Week, the major European event for the e-commerce and retail industry, has put together a comprehensive programme of plenary conferences, special sessions, academies, solutions workshops and keynotes. The goal is to provide the 35,000 trade visitors with an exhaustive array of speeches for gaining an insight into the latest trends and drawing inspiration from best practices.
The challenge facing Paris Retail Week is a sizeable one! The aim is to provide national and international retail professionals with support and guidance in tackling the major changes sweeping the retail industry caused by digitalization and mobility. That is why this post-summer retail event is combining the E-Commerce Paris and Digital(in)Store shows to offer an expansive overview of the connected retail sector.
Using feedback from major brands, speeches by institutional market players, strategic insights of the sector's leaders, professionals will be able to compare their points of view, sense which changes will next hit the market and discover the latest innovations and trends in online and physical retail.

The event's partners (ACSEL, BeCommerce, FEVAD, Mobile Marketing Association, Cap Digital, Cercle du Marketing Direct, FCA, GS1, Quebec Consortium of Online Retailers and SNCD) will address participants through a series of special sessions and workshops to provide their perspective and analysis of recent market trends.
To coincide with the opening of the E-Commerce Paris show, the largest event for e-retailers in Europe, e-commerce federation FEVAD will announce the quarterly results of the e-commerce industry.

"Responsive Retail", the event's underlying theme, will be central to all discussions during the four plenary conferences. This will be the ideal opportunity for visitors to listen to testimonials from companies CEOs, marketing managers, supply chain directors and multichannel directors. The sessions will review their marketing, logistics and customer relations strategies for better understanding consumers, their behaviour and their needs. Delivered by the companies taking part and supported by feedback from users, over 300 dedicated speeches will be organised answering five key topics: technology, digital marketing, customer experience, logistics and industry-wide issues.
Masterclass by Visiplus Academy will be offering professionals 27 mini-training sessions on key e-commerce topics, such as SEO version 2016, new Google AdWords features, brand content applied to e‑commerce, and the new faces of m-commerce and social commerce.
The Google for Pros initiative was launched in 2012 with the aim of helping French professionals develop their presence on the Internet while taking advantage of the opportunities offered by digital technologies. This initiative forms one of the foundations for the "French Success Driver" venture, whose objective is to boost, support and celebrate French success stories that can be credited to the use of digital technologies.
Comprising industry-recognised professionals, the E-Commerce Awards panel strives to focus the spotlight on promising companies and innovations that are likely to provide the market with an effective response to the issues facing retailers, e-retailers and brands in general.
The "Rookie Of The Year" award was launched in 2014 by the E-Commerce Paris show and will showcase three finalists who were shortlisted before the event to present their projects on the big day. The award will be subject to a public vote and is in keeping with Comexposium's determination to act as a springboard for young start-ups.
